Courtney Agencies is a mid-sized Customs Brokerage with a solid, 70-year local history. We are seeking a Customs Broker/Customs Rater to join our vibrant team of 20 staff in Canada, and broader group which includes the staff of PMK International, our sister company based in Seattle.

Hitting the road running, you can expect to work at a fast pace to clear shipments with various modes and types of transactions. Relationships are at the core of our business, and you will work closely with clients, service providers as well as your colleagues to deliver quality, timely service.

Preferably, you have post-secondary education in a relevant field. You see yourself building a career in logistics and have already earned a CCS or shown interest in doing so (Courtney is pleased to support you in that pursuit.) You have at least one year of related experience working with tariffs and classifications, with some exposure to duties, taxes, and HVS / CLVS processing. Solid understanding of PARS, OGD reporting, trade agreements, rules of origin, ACI and CARM would make you an ideal candidate.
