CBSA to review normal values of oil country tubular goods and concrete rebar

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced reviews of the normal values of certain oil country tubular goods and of certain concrete reinforcing bar that are currently subject to anti-dumping and/or countervailing duty orders.

The CBSA implemented a new normal value review process. Normal value reviews are conducted by the CBSA to ensure that normal values and export prices in place accurately reflect current market conditions.

Procedures followed during a normal value review are similar to those of a re-investigation with the exception that each review is conducted with respect to a single exporter only.

The following reviews were announced:

  • Notice of Initiation of Normal Value Review (HLD CLARK) - Oil Country Tubular Goods

  • Notice of Initiation of Normal Value Review (COLAKOGLU) - Concrete Reinforcing Bar

  • Notice of Initiation of Normal Value Review (ICDAS) - Concrete Reinforcing Bar
