Tribunal finds dumping of copper pipe fittings from Vietnam injures Canadian industry
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal announced on May 25, 2018 its finding that the dumping and subsidizing of copper pipe fittings originating in or exported from Vietnam have caused injury to the domestic industry.
Anti-dumping and countervailing duties will therefore be collected by the Canada Border Services Agency on importations of these goods.
The Tribunal's inquiry and finding follow the issuance by the President of the Canada Border Services Agency of a preliminary determination dated January 25, 2018, and of a final determination dated April 25, 2018, that the above-mentioned goods have been dumped and subsidized.
The affected goods are described in the Tribunal's determination.
