Airports association says air freight volumes saw slower growth in February
Airports Council International (ACI), the trade association of the world's airports, reports that the continued economic growth and global trade led to an increase of 6.3% in total freight volumes in February. The 12-month rolling average for the freight market stands at 7.9%.
Of the major markets, North America led the way with 8.2% year-over-year, bringing its 12-month rolling numbers to 7.1%. The United States' air freight market has shown remarkable resilience despite increasing tensions related to trade.
