CP reaches tentative agreement with conductors & engineers

The Teamsters Canada Rail Conference (TCRC), which represents the running trade employees at Canadian Pacific, has agreed to a tentative one year agreement with company, subject to ratification by the membership.

The agreement, which is subject to ratification, offers CP's Canadian conductors and engineers a number of benefits and certainty over the next year, while protecting customers' and future customers' interests.

The agreement further provides an opportunity to address issues with scheduling, fatigue and the current backlog of disputes between the parties.

Details of the tentative agreement will not be released until the TCRC members have had a chance to review the document.

TCRC-T&E represents approximately 3,000 Canadian conductors and engineers at CP.
