Canada Border Services Agency

• Carbon steel pipe fittings from China - Notice of Re-investigation of the normal values and export prices.
• Certain Thermoelectric Coolers and Warmers from China - Notice of Re-investigation of the normal values, export prices and amounts of subsidy.
• Notice to Fastener Importers (3). "This notice is to advise you that normal values have been issued for products manufactured by Tapoo Metal Products (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. of the People's Republic of China. These will be applicable to subject goods released from Customs on or after May 28, 2010".
• Notice to Fastener Importers (2). "This notice is to advise you that normal values have been issued for products manufactured by J.C. Grand Corporation of Chinese Taipei. These will be applicable to subject goods released from Customs on or after June 2, 2010."
• Memorandum D15-2-38 Certain Hot-Rolled Carbon and Alloy Steel Sheet. This memorandum includes updated Harmonized System classification numbers for the goods in question.

Canadian Food Inspection Agency

• Meat Hygiene Directive - European Union.
• New U.S. requirements for tomatoes shipped from Canada meant to prevent the entry of tomato leafminer (Tuta absoluta) into the U.S.
• Directive D-97-11 May 6, 2010 (2nd Revision) Seed Potato Certification Program - Requirements for the production of Pre-Elite seed potatoes from sources other than Nuclear Stock. Revised to update the review date, as well as minor administrative changes. The content of this directive has not changed.
• Directive D-96-05 June 2, 2010 (9th Revision) Import Requirements for Potatoes, Potato Parts and Potato By-Products. The purpose of this revision is to update Appendix 5 to reflect the recent pest status change for North Carolina for which Ditylenchus destructor (Potato Rot Nematode) was added.
• Appendix 1 "The Regulatory Status of Areas in Canada and the United States" of Directive D-96-15 "Phytosanitary requirements to prevent the spread of Japanese beetle, Popillia japonica, in Canada and the United States" has been revised.
• Appendix 3 "2010 Asian Gypsy Moth (AGM) Regulated Vessel List - Vessels in Designated Russian Federationn or Japanese ports during high risk periods" of D-95-03 "Asian Gypsy Moth (Lymantria Dispar L.) - Plant Protection Policy for Marine Vessels" has been revised.
• Appendix 1 "Summary of Plant Health Import Requirements for Temperate Fresh Fruit Approved for Entry into Canada" of Directive D-95-08 "General Import Requirements for Fresh Temperate Fruits from the World" has been revised.
• Appendix 1 "Areas Regulated for the Emerald Ash Borer" of Directive D-03-08 "Phytosanitary Requirements to Prevent the Introduction into and Spread Within Canada of the Emerald Ash Borer, Agrilus planipennis (Fairmaire)" has been revised.

• U.S. CBP Northern Border Highway Carrier Conference. The second annual Northern Border Highway Carrier Conference (NBHCC) will be held in Niagara Falls, NY on Tuesday August 31 and Wednesday September 1, 2010.
• USITC - Possible Additions to the Pharmaceutical Appendix to the HTS. The U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) has instituted a new investigation to provide information and advice to the President concerning over 700 pharmaceutical products and chemical intermediates for which the Administration is proposing to eliminate duties.
• U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service - Changes to CITES Species Listing (pdf) The amendments to CITES Appendices will be effective on June 23, 2010.
