• Directive D-01-12 May 6, 2010 (2nd Revision) Phytosanitary Requirements for the Importation and Domestic Movement of Firewood. Revised to clarify the requirement to present a phytosanitary certificate, indicating heat treatment details, for firewood originating from all areas of the world including the United States (U.S.)
• Directive D-01-02 May 4, 2010 (3rd Revision) Import Requirements for Packages of Flower Bulbs Purchased in The Netherlands by Travellers Returning to or Visiting Canada. Revised to update the review date, as well as minor administrative changes. The content of this directive has not changed.

Canadian International Trade Tribunal

• Preliminary Injury Inquiry No. PI-2009-005 Greenhouse bell peppers originating in or exported from the Netherlands. Tribunal determines that there is evidence that discloses a reasonable indication that the dumping has caused injury.

United States

• U.S. CBP announces opening of Nexus lane in Calais, Maine.
• U.S. CBP CSMS# 10-000127 - June 2, Webinar on New Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) Detention Notices.
• U.S. FDA and NIH launch Electronic Safety Reporting Portal. The Food and Drug Administration and the National Institutes of Health launched a new Web site that, when fully developed, will provide a mechanism for the reporting of pre- and post-market safety data to the federal government.
