- Directive D-06-04 February 2, 2010 (2nd Revision) Seed Potato Quality Management Program (SPQMP). Revised to clarify circumstances under which re-inspection of seed potatoes shipped under the SPQMP may be carried out by the CFIA, and the subsequent actions to be taken by CFIA when a non-conformance is identified in association to seed potato shipments. In addition, minor changes have been made to labelling requirements for bulk containers.
- Directive D-97-07 January 25, 2010 (1st Revision) Phytosanitary Requirements for the Importation from the United States and Domestic Movement of Elm Material (Ulmus spp. and Zelkova spp.) to Prevent the Introduction and Spread of Dutch Elm Disease Ophiostoma ulmi (Buisman) Nannf. and Ophiostoma novo-ulmi (Brasier) within Canada. Revised to strengthen the phytosanitary requirements pertaining to the domestic movement and importation of some regulated commodities such as elm nursery stock from infested areas of Canada and the U.S.
- Directive D-94-25 January 14, 2010 (2nd Revision) Plant protection import requirements for ginseng (Panax spp.). Revised to update the review date, as well as minor administrative changes. The content of this directive has not changed.
- Reminder of changes to import notification requirements (pdf). Letter from the CFIA Imported and Manufactured Food Division.
- Remider: Contagious equine metritis imports requirements remain in effect. The import requirements introduced in 2009 in response to an outbreak of contagious equine metritis (CEM) in the United States (U.S.) remain in effect.
- Veterinary Biologics Memorandum 2010-02 Renewal of veterinary biologics establishment licences, product licences and import permits.
