• Appendix 6 "Approved Nurseries, USDA APHIS Barberry Certification Program Compliance List" of Directive D-01-04 "Plant protection import and domestic movement requirements for barberry (Berberis, Mahoberberis and Mahonia spp.) under the Canadian Barberry Certification Program" has been revised.
• Appendix 1 "Hemlock Woolly Adelgid Regulated Areas" of Directive D-07-05 " Phytosanitary requirements to prevent the introduction and spread of the hemlock woolly adelgid (Adelges tsugae Annand) from the United States and within Canada" has been revised.

Health Canada

• Proposed Order Amending Schedule I to the Hazardous Products Act (Surface Coating Materials). The purpose of this proposal is to align Canada with the United States in respect of total lead levels in surface coating materials and certain products with surface coating materials applied to them. (Health Canada)
• Health Canada recommends stricter safety standards for playpen accessories. This information applies to all playpens sold, imported or advertised in Canada.

Canadian International Trade Tribunal

• Interim Review No. RD-2009-004 Certain Fasteners. Tribunal will not conduct an interim review concerning certain drywall screws.
